A note from Macy
Growing up, my family had a few token phrases … “You can like things or dogs, not both!” and “Always drink the good stuff first.”
For me, the one I return to most (typically used in lieu of a pep talk) is something my mom often says: “Work hard, study hard, merrywell.”
'Merry' isn’t a slip of the tongue, but rather an intentional respelling. To her, Merrywell means exactly what it sounds like: make merry and be well, however that looks for you.
What started as a family inside quip has since become my guiding philosophy. Over the years, I found myself returning to those words whenever I felt stuck or simply needed a little encouragement… a gentle reminder to delight in the everyday.
To me, Merrywell is a way of living rooted in that same sentiment.
My intention for Merrywell is to create a warm, welcoming, and beautiful environment that invites you to slow down and experience the magic of each day. Whether that's setting the table with your favorite dishes … curling up in a well loved French settee with a good book … or gathering with the people you love over a homemade dinner, I hope everything Merrywell offers serves as a gentle reminder to make life merry and live as well as you can.
